When flat roofs are utilized as additional usable space and are therefore frequently accessed, flat roof fall protection is essential. According to the safety regulations of the construction and employers' liability insurance associations, workplaces and traffic routes on roofs with a fall height of more than 3 meters must be equipped with "devices that prevent people from falling" (fall protection systems).
Our ballast elements for guardrail systems provide a non-penetrating, self-supporting counterweight option made from recycled plastic.
The heavy, solid blocks made of recycled plastic deliver the necessary ballast to keep guardrails securely upright. An integrated carrying slot and a molded contour ensure fast handling and installation. The contour essentially snaps onto the outrigger/extension arm.
The result: lower transport and installation costs, ballast elements that you can relocate and reuse - and one more piece of plastic waste that does not end up in a landfill but is instead put to meaningful use.
